Remember those floods last year in Iowa? Well, they’ve been out of the news for a while, but the rebuilding still is not complete. Just after worship on Sunday, August 2, a group of Randolph Heights youth and adults left for Iowa City to help.

Youth Director Doug Walters worked through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to set up the trip. He’ll lead our mission team as it works to help finish repairs to affected homes.

Our prayers are with them as they travel and work, and our prayers go out for those afflicted by disasters. May people see God’s love in our actions, and may we see God’s image in those we are blessed enough to help.
