Announcing a Series of Five Lenten Gatherings
Thursdays March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and April 2nd from 7:00-8:30pm
Faith isn’t just something we believe in our heads or feel in our hearts, it’s something we seek to live out from day to day. As we hear the call of Jesus to “follow me”, we do it in the small and the ordinary and the everyday.
Lent is a season of reflection on our lives and how it is that we’re living them. This Lent at Randolph Heights Presbyterian Church, we’re offering a series of presentations where we ask: What does it mean to live our faith as a way of life? We’ll take a look at several different spheres of our everyday lives — our family life, our work life, life in our neighborhoods, and even the food we eat.
Each gathering will include a presentation and a guided conversation, followed by a brief time of prayer around the topic led by Rev. Matt Robbins-Ghormley. Coffee, tea & desert will be provided. Childcare will also be available. A short reading can be picked up on Sundays in preparation for Thursday nights.
